Ta Da!!
The pillowcase. That's what I just made today. If you can see it behind the kid. He saw it and wouldn't even let me finish ironing it. He just took it. As you can see, he's a big Lightning McQueen fan. Who knows, you may start seeing some pillowcases in my Etsy shop.
As a general rule I don't really like talking politics. I get easily irritated. Pretty soon everyone is going to start asking me who I'm voting for and wanting to debate it, etc. This is all I'm going to say:

This is one of the presents Maddox got for his 2nd birthday, a welding set. As you can see he REALLY likes it. You probably can't tell, but when you push the handle it makes welder-like sounds and lights up. His favorite thing to weld is his wooden train table. Notice that he's holding a monster truck in his other hand, another one of his favorite things. We're taking him to see Monster Jam next weekend, I think he'll have a blast! (Yes, he will be wearing ear protection, we're not stupid)
So all the people out there who thought nap time could have been better spent cleaning my house or doing laundry this past week were so wrong. I Won! What did I win, you ask? What didn't I win, would be a better question. To start it off I won a $25 Mastercard from Mimi's Jewel Box of Tips and Treasures! My mind is already swimming with all the possibilities of things I could purchase. Maybe I'll save it for a rainy day. Probably not. And then...I also won a Bloggy Makeover from Flibby Pie Graphic Design and Where the Kudzu Grows! A Bloggy Makeover that entails a header, side buttons, and coordinating background to my specifications! I have been wanting this for so long, that now I'm not even sure what I want.
